Greetings from AVEC 2017!!!


It’s an honour to inform that the second ASEAN Vocational and Engineering Camp will take place in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia with the collaboration of the Regional Association for Vocational and Technical Education in Asia (RAVTE). This auspicious event will commence from the 16th – 23rd July, 2017 at the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education, Johor, Malaysia.

We would like to invite two students and a lecturer who are in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or engineering students with experienced studying C programming from universities in the ASEAN countries, as well as China and Taiwan to participate in this camp. This international camp aims to enhance the creativity of students, help foster creativity and serves as the convergence of future engineers through technology design projects. This camp will definitely motivate and inspire future engineers through exposure to design thinking, as well as generating good cooperation between ASEAN countries. The participants will have the chance to practice using Internet of Thing (IoT), facilitating them to solve problems in various contexts, a knowledge transferable to other fields for the benefits of others

In addition, participants will have a chance to explore Malacca the Historical City with their buddies as well as exchange their culture.

The camp fee is 200 USD per student with a special discount of only 100 USD for RAVTE Members!!! The fee covers accommodation, meals, transportation, t-shirt and workshop kit. (Exclude air ticket). Please bring along your national costume for the welcoming dinner.

We can only accept 60 students from various ASEAN universities since seats available is limited and first come first serve basis.  Let’s make this opportunity as an experience of a lifetime!!
